Playing Church

The boys have made this their regular Monday morning activity! They love to line up the chairs in the front room and "play" church! It is so cute. Sometimes they put their teddy's in the chairs and other times, they drag me in and we all have fun "singing to Jesus"!

It is important for us to include our children in the singing portion of Sunday's service, especially since caregroups are no longer integrated. There is something powerful about them having the opportunity to see the body of Christ worship our Savior, irrespective of age, gender, ethnic background, etc. And it warms my heart to watch them emulating what they are seeing on Sunday!

Singing to Jesus
(sounds like they are singing in the Spirit!)

And now for the sermon...

  1. This is so cute. Pa loved it. I am so glad that they are getting a great experience in loving their Lord -- it may seem like play but they using what they see their parents & the other grownups doing.
