I'm embarassed to admit that I was tagged almost a MONTH ago for a meme, by my friend Jen. In the craziness of the holidays and my frustration with Rich's laptop, there was very little posting going on...
But it is January and I'm resolved to catch up on things!
So here goes it:
1. I'm a breakfast person, oh and a lunch and dinner person. ok, I pretty much love to eat ALL the time! As long as the food item isn't past its expiration date, I'll consume it. I'm extremely paranoid about spoiled food and won't touch it if there is any possibility that it's gone bad. The 10 second rule is a great one though.
2. I used to line my sisters pillow with dead crickets when I would get mad at her. It was a very effective way of getting revenge. And I usually paid for it the next day with getting grounded.
3. One of my favorite experiences in life was getting to scrub in and help with a hysterectomy during a missions trip in Guatemala! They even let me suture her up!
4. When I was younger, I always loved babysitting rambunctious little boys the best. I guess God was preparing me for my life now!
5. I can play the piano backwards.
6. I was obsessed with running away when I was little. I used to pull out an old atlas and map out how I would get from my house to Oklahoma so I could go live with Gospel Bill and his friends. sigh...
7. I gave my life to Jesus when I was only 2 years old. I'm so thankful that I cannot remember life without Jesus.
So that wraps up my very random 7 facts... I'm tagging Bethany, Stephanie and Christine.
Great facts Heather! I love the one about the crickets and the one about playing the piano backwards. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you're doing well!
CRICKETS?!!! I am sooooo glad you grew out of that by the time we were roomies. :P
ReplyDeleteOk, I accept your challenge! I'll probably post later next week, since in the meantime I'll be posting about Inauguration, etc. (BTW, what are you and the boys doing Inauguration Day? Anything fun and/or educational?)
Steph - or maybe you just didn't push my buttons hard enough... Ohhhhh Bethy is a saint for living through all of that and still loving me! :)
ReplyDeleteRemember when you ran away and I helped you pack? :-)
ReplyDeletewhat a mom. You just KNEW that I wouldn't really make it very far... :)
