Well, we have now been in our house for over a year now. Since it appeared that our cardboard fort in the front room was going nowhere fast, we decided to give it an expansion and facelift a little over a month ago. Since I love matching colors and such we chose muted primary colors so it would coordinate with the Xander's easel.
It is amazing how the simplest of toys, oftentimes junk or trash -turned treasure, make for happy children.
Xander enjoyed helping his daddy paint.
And of course he LOVES the finished product, especially the new blue GARAGE! Every man/boy needs his own garage, right?
A garage! Joy! The primary colors are great.
ReplyDeleteHe is very proud of his little house inside his big house!
ReplyDeleteoh! so cool!! that's just the sort of thing my brother loved when he was little - and his room was primary colors for the longest time! :)
ReplyDeleteYour Rich is amazing... painting and pariticiping with all the boyish excitement of making a fort/house/compound. BTW, I brought home some cool additions for the play house today!
ReplyDeleteRich is such a great dad -- Xander is so lucky that he gets to help his dad. Imagination is a wonderful gift.
