This last week was a walk down memory lane as we went through more of my Oma's things.
She had great taste and loved shopping! Her collection of shoes, purses, coats, dresses, belts and handkerchiefs was impressive! I think all of us ladies inherited her love of shopping and pouring over her meticulously stored collection of vintage goodness was bittersweet! (It would have been so much MORE fun for her to have been with us telling stories about each item.)
During this process it was interesting to note what characteristics each of us has inherited from her. Evie and Bethy both definitely have her sense of style. Bethy is meticulous and I store. Sadly, I did not inherit both of those together... But I am ever hopeful that I will grow in this area!

She saved EVERYTHING! Here is her highschool hat that she made with her friends from highschool. All of their names are embroidered on it. It was so cool!
It has been a sweet time for me to go through her things with you girls - and especially sweet to remember her with fondness and to see your joy.
